I recently got my hands on a Zoom H1 that quickly became the ideal alternative to my Zoom H5 when I want to go recording as light as possible.

Since the Zoom H1 is equipped with a Mic/Line In, I connected a SF-666 microphone and started to record sounds in my garden.

I share here two small extracts of the recordings I did, full recordings will be available later after editing.

Next step is to use the Zoom H1 with electromagnetic microphones and go for a walk through the streets… For this next coming recording session, I had to find a “DIY” solution to fix the little microphones on the Zoom H1 case :
