Microcassette is the newly added “obsolete” media to the growing list of audio archiving possibilities.

Microcassette was mainly present in answering machines of the 70’s / 80’s and a popular media used with handy recorders.

Microcassette is usually provided in 30 and 60 minutes length and sounds quite similar to normal K7 tapes (hiss, noise, artefacts) but with lower quality (different recording/playback speed) and to my ears, interestingly more noisy.

Check Audio Archiving post or Business page for more informations!
